I understand that tagging the word “perfection” after anything is acting a little presumptuous, but the level of satisfaction I have derived from the golf gps rangefinder is nothing short of extraordinary. Soon after I purchased the golf gps rangefinder, I was on the golf course testing it out, and let me tell you, what I found out was that this little device has reached a level of, well, perfection unlike I have ever seen in any gps unit.
It was rather unfortunate, but one of the first things I ended up testing was the golf gps rangefinder durable exterior. No more than five minutes on the course, I dropped the poor thing onto a bed of rocks. Fearful that I would be returning to the store, I slowly picked it up and, to my astonishment, there wasn’t even a scratch on the outer casing. Then, I turned it on and found the internal hardware fully operational! I remember reading that the golf gps rangefinder was also waterproof, but fortunately, I have yet to test that out as yet.
Turning the golf gps rangefinder on, I immediately attempted to access the distance calculation application. The shear accuracy of the device was out of this world! In the spirit of testing this little device out, one of our buddies had already been on the course, marking the yards in increments of 100. We did this so that we could strike the ball and figure out just how dead on this new, distance calculation thing was. To my surprise, it was extremely accurate and, if our calculations were correct, the golf gps rangefinder did a far better job than we did during our little “testing prep.”
Then shear magnification of the golf gps rangefinder was another intense feature. Ranging all of the way up to 750 yards, the golf gps rangefinder is just one of those devices you want to take with you everywhere you go, and, not to mention the course layout accuracy that it provides while in the middle of game play. 6x the normal magnification, distance calculation accuracy, you really cannot get any better than that!
Based on my own personal experience, as well as the experience of my family and friends, the golf gps rangefinder is one of the best gps devices designed for professional golfers. Now, I wouldn’t consider myself a professional, but I do know my way around the golf course! After using this device, the golf gps rangefinder quickly became my favorite golfing accessory!

The great game of golf may seem boring to some, but for me and my family… it is our life! We love playing a few rounds on the course every Sunday evening and, when it rains, we simply take a day off of our normal routine during the week to make up for it! When you first purchased our golf gps systems a few years back, we had no idea what kind of fun we were getting ourselves into! Think about it, we were never able to accurately determine our yardage, how our games were progressing from game to game, or even be able to have accountability towards our actual scores, but when you purchase the golf gps systems we now hold near and dear to our clubs, our enjoyment of the game has greatly increased, and here is why!
My father and I have been playing this little game with ourselves ever since I learned how to play: one person would strike the ball, and the other person would guess how many yards the ball covered. We never had a basis for comparison, but my father knows that course like the back of his hand, and was usually able to make a rather impressive calculation after simple watching the ball in the air for a few moments. However, after we purchased our golf gps systems, we quickly found out how off my father has been and, ironically, how close I was to an accurate distance calculation. Quite amazing, let me tell you! There is nothing like settling an age long debate!
My brother and I like to travel and play on different courses at least once a year. He and his wife, me and mine take a vacation together and head out to the golf course in “wherever” in order to see if we have been able to keep up with our games. Our biggest issue with changing up the courses like that has always been not knowing what lies ahead of our balls. We sink into balls into the sand traps as if we were striking our balls over the Atlantic Ocean and wondering if it would land in the London! There was no way around it, but when we purchased our golf gps systems, were automatically knew where the sand traps were due to the devices’ base map directory! We were able to bring up a digital, sky view of the course, and, as a result, got to witness where all of the potential snags were for our balls. It was fun, especially when we figured out it didn’t help us to avoid the traps!
